Hi Bree, What a great slide about 'Fractions of amounts'. It is really clear to follow, though my older eyes found the smaller writing a little harder to read. Your example showed me that you understand the process. I especially liked that you have shared your next steps. Knowing times tables does help a lot in solving problems. From Mrs S
Well done Bree. Thank you for sharing this method. I had to put my spectacles on to read the small print but it made perfect sense. Am I right that one needs to find the value of the denominator before proceeding? Can you think of a time when you would need to work out the amount of a fraction?
